This is a long total solar eclipse with the maximum duration of \u00a06 minutes and 23 seconds occurring in Egypt. While a single site will see totality for an average minutes,\u00a0 the total network of DEB Observers will see a combined totality of 2 hours, 21 minutes and 2 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">DEB is currently looking for volunteer team leaders to form science observation teams that will collect telescopic solar data during the 2 August 2027 Total Solar Eclipse in the path of totality in Africa. A limited number of observation setups are available for donation to team leaders.
